Finding pharmaceutical candidates to boost immunotherapy for oncological treatment

This third project in partnership with Nintx and co-funding from EMBRAPII works to develop pharmaceuticals from natural products that can boost immunotherapy to treat cancer. Using CNPEM/LNBio’s internal research in immuno-oncology, the project will screen innovative libraries of Brazilian biodiversity to assess the potential of natural products to modulate immune response and in immunotherapies with antibodies. In the initial phase, the project is adapting in vitro assays to large-scale screening of compounds.
