The area of Advanced Health Technologies integrates research fronts in pharmaceutical discovery, proteomics, gene editing, tissue engineering, immunotherapy, and biological medications; its primary mission is to meet demands from the RDI chain to strengthen the health economic and industrial complex.

The Facilities and Services Division supports scientific excellence with specialized services and laboratories that are available to users in Brazil and abroad, and also plays an essential role in conducting, refining, and developing new experimental approaches.
