Active pharmaceutical ingredient from vegetative biomass, with dermocosmetic action

This project, which ran from 2018 to 2022, was dedicated to developing a dermocosmetic to treat and regenerate the skin with anti-aging effects, from plant extracts obtained from Brazilian flora. Co-funded by EMBRAPII and carried out by CNPEM/LNBio in partnership with Aché and Phytobios, the project culminated in phenotype studies of the activity of optimized plant extracts on reconstituted human skin models developed by LNBio, and identified plant extracts with promising potential.
