Analytic Spectroscopy

Analytic spectroscopy

This group works to provide technology and expertise to evaluate the structures and activities of proteins and their interactions with drugs, DNA, RNA and carbohydrates, evaluating lignins, polymers and copolymers, as well as changes in metabolic profiles and pathways, with high scientific and technological rigor. It also works to characterize drug candidate molecules with ADME analyses (absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion), which are essential for pharmacokinetic and pharmacological studies. The laboratory features advanced technologies such as a nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer, chromatographs and a mass spectrometer.
