Manages drug discovery projects and partnerships with ICTs, manufacturers and local communities. Develops advanced computational methods for organizing and mining data in drug discovery. Coordinates and participates in network projects such as IFA-BR (FINEP Mais Inovação Saúde), Cadeias Produtivas Licuri (MTI/FINEP) and Iwasa’i (CNPq Pro-Amazonia).

The group is responsible for managing chemical samples and the Bank of Molecules program (banco.moleculas@lnbio.cnpem.br), an innovative initiative that connects Latin America through its molecules, leveraging the co-development of radical pharmaceutical innovation projects in the region’s ICTs and local communities.
