The registration for the VI Proteomics Workshop is opened until August 20th. The event will be held on November 4th and 5th at the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM) campus in Campinas – SP. The workshop is organized by the Brazilian Biosciences National Laboratory (LNBio) and it will address recent topics in proteomics and mass spectrometry. The VI Proteomics Workshop does not have a registration fee, however the attendance is limited and application is required. More information is available on http://pages.cnpem.br/proteomicsworkshop/.

Around 13 speakers from Brazil and abroad will give presentations on top down proteomics, N- e C-terminomics, proteogenomics, system biology applied to pathogenesis and to host-pathogen interactions, biological fluids using peptidomics and proteomics, and quantitative proteomics using SRM, PRM, AQUA-MRM, among others.

The VI Proteomics Workshop applicants are invited to apply to the Trans-Proteomic Pipeline (TPP), a satellite event promoted by the Seattle Proteome Center (SPC).This course will be held from November 6th to 10th at the LNBio. The TTP registration fee costs around US$ 200,00 and US$ 600,00. The details about both events are available on http://pages.cnpem.br/proteomicsworkshop/.
