Using cutting-edge technologies in microscopy, structural biology and modeling, the group investigates how DNA folds, organizes and communicates within the nucleus.<\/p>\n<p>The focus is on revealing how alterations in this architecture contribute to the onset and progression of diseases like cancer, neurodevelopmental disorders and neurodegenerative diseases. By investigating the structure of chromatin, nuclear compartments and architectural proteins, the group works to construct a new understanding of the genome: as not just a sequence of letters, but a dynamic structure that regulates cell destiny.<\/p>\n<p>This knowledge will pave the way for innovative therapies and more precise approaches in combating diseases linked to nuclear
